HEY GUYS,
I ordered my second P-64 from a member here who happens to be a major part of this site and it arrived on Monday. This member has done several projects to help everyone here. I am going to mention his name and hopefully he won't get upset. TROY (TTH), sold me the P-64 pistol and then we discussed restoring options. The process took a couple of weeks and definitely worth the wait to have him clean, parkerize and duracoat the pistol. BTW, this is the second one I bought from him and have had this service completed. I am a customer for life and will use him for all of my gun restoration needs, including any new or used gun I purchase in the future. Simply stated...the work is amazing and he treats you as friendly and professional as you could imagine.
I started a new job this Monday and have been traveling quite a bit so I couldn't pick it up until today. All this knowing that it was at my FFL. Anticipation did not let me down, it is a perfect and a fabulous pistol, pictures will not do justice. I would recomend this service to anyone who owns the gun. I could not be more pleased with Troy and the process. I have already started discussions for my 3rd. Maybe OD Green...we're kicking some ideas around.
I have now been diagnosed with a sickness, "P64-ITIS". Any cures????
I just wanted to express my thanks to everyone on this forum. This is a fabulous and wonderful site. You guys rock!!!
Thanks.
Thomas
P.S. Picture to post soon, my digital camera is being used this weekend.

I am curious where the P64 with the messed up finish came from. For quite a while, like new, unissued ones were being sold.

Steve98664,
The P-64 was never messed up, but rather "thin" and didn't look new or vibrant. I just wanted to have the pistol parkerized and duracoted. I'm sure that these are "new and unissed", but I still believe there is value in having it restored.

Troy,
No problem. Let's talk about the 3rd one...addiction at its best!!
Thanks everyone, it's good to know that I have several "co-dependents".
