I took some of my college savings and ordered one from JG. I can put the funds back for my college next year. Being 68, I figure I have plenty of time to figure out what I want to do with my life.

On a serious note, are there any resources dedicated to the P-83 as there is for the P-64?

I love mine, so big Yeah! Not as concealable as a P64, of course, and with a hammer that begs to be snagged on your clothes. I watched a YouTube video that explained the coolness of this pistol, though. It is mostly made from stampings and bendings, with very few machined parts. Apparently pretty revolutionary for its time. I'll see if I can find it again and post the link.

I want one but not on the Kalyforrnya "approved" list and not C&R eligible. :(

Have to agree that it does look like a very nice addition. Problem being for myself is that I already have a lot of nice additions.

But yea, go for it :!:

I knew that I should not have read this posting. Already have enough firearms that I do not shoot on a regular basis. But after reading all of the above, you've peaked my interest and I spent a good amount of time last night viewing many nice Polish, Bulgarian, Russian firearms that are on the market.
