Perry, I live fairly close to the Bozeman trail as well as the Black and Yellow trails and I work in the oil and gas fields and get to those areas a lot. It is erie to look down and see ruts worn into the rock and realize that your standing on the Bozeman or Black and Yellow routes and those ruts in the ground or rocks are from the wagons that passed through here. And I have looked around and wondered if I am near someones grave that did not.make it through here. Sorry about your Great Grandfathers brother. Unfortunetly I am no where near that area but if you come to visit let me know and maybe we can meet and greet.

Thanks Ketchman. The west must be an interesting place. I have read that there were many, many graves along the trails. Cholera from bad water took many, I am not sure they knew what caused it. There was a fellow that took the Oregon trail in 1850, he counted and wrote down the names on the grave markers. A copy of his list is supposed to be at a Ft. Laramie museum, someone read it and gave the grave info to me. His family settled in Oregon in the 1860's.

I am originally from Michigan, moved out here 10 years ago and I am constantly fascinated and amazed with this land and the people. I have not been to the Laramie museum but I have heard it is amazing and I will go someday. The Wind River is awesome, Thermopolis is very cool for both the hot springs and the dinosaur digs and Yellowstone and Teton are not describable here. They should be on everyones bucket list. And Glacier National Park??? They had to hold a gun to my head to get me to leave there. Come and see us, you will not be sorry.

Good man. I was a Boy Scout and also worked with Weblos. Did you make the grips or buy them already made?

I want one of the BR61's! The CZ 82's are not too hard to find.
