CZ Model 52 at Auction Arms

Post by gunneyrabbit »

Hello guys,
I Just won what appears to be a very nice CZ Model 52 with 320 boxed rounds of 7.62x25 ammo with striper clips to sweeten the deal, I found it at Auction Arms. Honest guys I tried to resist but the voices kept telling me " BID,BID" I just couldn't help myself!
I am a happy camper ;D

searcher36,
Thanks, I've been looking for one for some time now and the ammo and stripper clips just made my decision that much easier.
At the price I gave I figure the ammo cost about $40.00.

P.S.
What does lol mean? I've seen it and other text message monograms at the site and I'm at a loss for their meaning.

Thanks Norm,
Post corrected,
I got a little to excited with winning and all. I am aware that the item doesn't use the stripper clips, I just thought it was a little something extra that could help defray the cost of the sale down the road. ;)

Thanks again Norm,
The legend on the box reads, 7,62mm Pistol Naboju, with single accents over the a and u. followed by the words Tombak. Plat. The fellow went to special lengths to give excellent photos of every aspect of the pistol and the ammo.

Thanks Norm, now you tell me about the ammo. I have shot a bunch that came on stripper clips, maybe it wasn't MG ammo or I was just lucky.BTW, thats the ammo we tried on a old level 2 vest, went right thru it. :D

guys here are two threads on bad surplus ammo for the CZ-52's
that's such a high pressure round please be careful of what you shoot in these guns,
I'd think I be a little leery on pistol ammo on stripper clips unless it's 30 Mauser witch looks like the 7.62 x 25 and I don't think you should fire 30 Mauser in a CZ-52 I could be wrong please check and be safe

gunneyrabbit,

Congrats on gettling the bid on the CZ52, they are fun to shoot, and you'll get everyone's attention when you are shooting it.

Norm,

Thanks for the good info/reminder on the CZ52 [7.62x25] ammo, which was originally a machine gun round, and later used in pistols. This reminds us that even as strong as the CZ52 is, using the wrong ammo can still destroy it and hurt us or worse.

So GR is appears based on that page Norm came up with that you Naboju ammo is for a machine gun...be careful...think twice about firing it.

Hi, If this is ammo is for submachine gun it is too strong for pistol. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to find out what type of ammo do you have, because there were no marks on rounds. The only chance is the box. Please take a picture, maby I could help you.
I'm afraid that clipped ammo were only made for vz.26 smg.

NORM, This web site is in Polish. the topic of this site is PPS smg, there is no info about ammo.
