New P-64 Owner Excellent Pawn shop find!

Post by Czech22 »

Hello all, new to the forum and a new P-64 owner as of today. I found what appears to be an Excellent+++ 1966 P-64 at a pawn shop. This might sound crazy but this gun looks like it may be not have been fired?? I mean it has no wear on internals at all. It also has a 3 digit serial number, does this affect value? It came with original matching mag to the gun. I would appreciate any insight or feedback on the low serial # question. Thanks! Czech 22

Hi new to here. I've been looking for a p64 for a while. I just picked 1up at a pawn shop for $ 150.00 I thought it was a good buy and I happy. I took it to the range yesterday an was very happy with the accuracy with my old eyes. I did commit a rookie mistake and got a little slide bit on my first couple rounds fired. I would like to find some wood grips and a spare mag. I haven't started looking yet.

You are wise to join here. A lot of smart people. Look at some of the older threads to answer questions. Some great wooden grips also available here

Thanks. This might be a dumb question but has anyone come up with a mag extension? Not for round count but to help with grip?

Look into the Polish Iron grips. They improve handling 500%, and will help with slide bite too.
