P64 new owner

Post by Nickjc »

Hi all,

New ownew of a 69 - found it at a local GS and has had mods done to it. ...looks like a metal extended mag release, has to have updated springs as it is a pleasure on DA..... 13 LBS or so not horrible....I'm not sensitive to overly excessive trigger pull. ...but it only has one mag.

Anyone know of a reasonable source for oem mags?

How are the keep shooting mags? Any problems?

Thanks

Nick

PS saw the grips link and I an curious about some upgraded sights ! :)

Welcome to the forum Nick.

If you do a search you will find several posts discussing the keep shooting mags.

Welcome Nick.

+1 on the PI grip and the KS mags. Also keep Wolff recoil springs in the back of your mind if shooting gets uncomfortable.

Hope you like the new to you P64. I have only shot mine once so far. :?

Classic Firearms also sells surplus mags. They are currently out of stock, but just a few weeks ago I got an email saying they were in stock, so I ordered 2 more. Just got them in today.

Gunbroker always has them available.

~$25 per mag seems like the normal price.

Mags are usually to be found on eBay, as well as many other parts. Good luck with your P64. I love mine. Mine came with 2 mags, but I bought 2 extras from ebay, so I now have 4.
