My wife's P-64 has a "little" brother in the house

Post by Beavis »

The P-83 showed up today and it is much nicer than I imagined(purchased from S.O.G.). Going to grab another P-64 this week while they are still around. I would go with S.O.G. again but someone mentioned on another post that AIM has them for $199 and that they were nice. Anyone care to share their thoughts on the P-83?

I like it too. Nice shooter. But I wouldn't call it the "little brother", it's more like the Bigger (Younger) Brother.

Wish they would have put the P-93 into full production too.

Love my P-83, first 9x18 I purchased.

Yeah, that is why I went with "little", but yer right, younger brother would be more fitting. Hope to get out Saturday and put some rounds through it. I have some PPU 93 grain ammo for it. Always liked the S&B ammo for the P-64. What are you guys feeding your P-64's with for plinking?

I use Brown Bear for my practice ammo. I find it quite consistent, feeds well in my P-64, and is reasonable in price.

FYI Just got a message that SOG is having a Memorial Day sale on P-83s for $189.95 shipped, running to June 3rd.
