This cold snap...

is getting serious here. I got all the potted plants in the hall and kitchen and bathroom, but, unfortunately, I cannot bring the trees and the flower beds indoors! ;D

If it gets down as low as the weather channel says it might, it'll be a record low for this area. Mighty hard on all the budding plant life. And since my wife plunders the local nursery the minute it warms up a little every spring, I'm going to be taking a small loss here. ::) I kept telling her, "Honey, it's only March...!

I got off early tonight and my wife and I went up to the Fish & Game club for the weekly drawings. It's 32 miles away and I was down to 45mph in blowing snow for awhile. It is supposed to be 20 in the am. Last weekend it was in the 70's.

Geez guys,
I'm sorry you are trapped in the last blast of winter.
I've just been watching the international news regarding global warming and they are saying get ready, this is just the beginning. Scientists evidently met for a world wide forum this last week and are predicting some not so nice changes in our environment. They are pointing fingers at standing governments and demanding immediate action to end the use of fossil fuels and any fuel that will further pollute the air we breathe. So much for bio diesel. I wonder how the Fed feels about the Kyoto accord now.
