Hello everyone! Just got this bad boy back from Mike at Rampart gun works. Loving it

I'll get some better pictures in the next few days that show the color a little better.

The color is an 80-20 mix of 80% tungsten and 20% black. All of the controls are in midnight blue (the look black but the blue comes out in the light)

also has some dark walnut grips i stumbled across.

if you need any cerakote work done check Rampart out! Top notch stuff.

That is a sweet looking piece, the grips look good. Just curious on the cost of getting it done.

Looks awesome. If my two were not so awesome looking, I would consider that treatment.

I, too would like to know where you got the grips, and the cost of those plus the cerakote.

they are the grips4u grips, and I paid 185 for the cerakote. That also included full disassembly of the gun and reassembly.

It's a lot to put into an inexpensive gun, but I really love the way this thing shoots so to me it was worth it.

My gun was in good shape with no pitting but I was getting tired of wiping it down every other week to keep surface rust off. If yours has any pitting I'm not sure I would go this route as it isn't going to fill the pitting just cover it.

I took some better photos of it the other day, I will post some later on if I can.

Thanks guys! glad you like it

Very nice, I was contemplating doing the same thing, I just couldn't justify the cost.
