Spoke to Walt Wolff today.......

Post by vermonter »

Spoke to Walt Wolff today. He is a really great guy who is interested in producing a quality product with safety in mind. He informed me that the recoil springs are done. The factory weight according to him is 19 LB. They will be offring 19, 20 & 22 LB packs INCLUDING firing pin spring!!! They are working on the hammer spring today and will offer it in the 18 / 19 LB range. He said don't expect to be able to place any orders till the end of the week. Check the website for updates or call Wolff on Friday.

P.S. He also said they would have mag springs within 2 months!

Kewl. I wonder how they determined 19lb was the standard.

@ the same time here's the Mak offering:
Factory Standard.: 17 Lb.
Extra Power.........: 19 and 21 Lb.

Hate 2 come across as the doubting Thomas but I have 2 wonder why the 64 standard of 19 doesn't equate 2 a heavy duty/x-power topping out @ 23lb.
