hi all,
im new here but iv been reading for about a week or so, i reciently bought a p64 from a gun show here for 120.00 and just love it. i ordered new grips from marchal. how ever today i was bored and tried to
"fix up" the grips that came on it. i thought i have new ones coming what could it hurt, i even put on some grip stipples before taking it to the range. here are the pictures of it before and after. honesty is the best policy, so let me have it, what do you guys think?

Re: newbi with a new gun
The Pachmayr grip looks real nice, but looks like it would interfere with the magazine base as it has that little hook on it for the pinky. These darn guns buck relatively hard and it would seem like the sandpaper stuff would chew up the palm. I really like that Pachmayr sleeve though. Very nice.

i did the wolf spring up grade and went to the range today and shot a box through it. the recoil dident seem that bad to me. i think the grip decals helped me to hold the little handle a bit better. i fired it last week a few times and it felt different today. i was bored and six weeks is a long time to wait for grips so what the heck. next time ill try it with the pachmyer on. but after 50 rounds my hands dont feel chewed up.
Re: newbi with a new gun
i had the pachmyer set to kind of go over the magizine it seemd to work but as you can tell i dident leave it on
Re: newbi with a new gun
I would have kept the grips stock with the Pachmyer grips on it instead of pimping em.
