trigger slap, recoil, or thats just the way it is?
Can anyone out there shoot their p64 and hold the trigger all the way back, having your finger still holding the trigger all the way back after the pistol has fired? I have two of these pistols, a round hammer and a triangle hammer. Both require much effort to do this. The trigger just seems hard to hold back and is overall hard on the finger. If I fire and let my finger off the trigger, that is when it is not good because the trigger seems to want to reset forward. Any Thoughts?? I would like to be able to slowly pull the trigger all the way through and hold back. Is this amount of feel through the trigger "normal" for these pistols?

I'm pretty sure that I am able to get the trigger fully rearward and then let it reset after the shot is through. However, it may not. I don't remember. I just shoot the darn thing. I'll pay more attention next time I shoot mine.

When I ordered Wolff springs for my P64, I went with a stronger recoil spring which cut down on the trigger slap.

I hold em all they way back until recoil then reset for the next shot.

Never noticed any slap on mine. I'll have to feel for it next time.
