fun at the range today

Post by Kilmister »

Took my son out and shot up a bunch of ammo today (most of it .22) and I put about 27 rounds through the P-64 (mix of Silver Bear JPH and Wolf FMJ). I had one wolf fail to go into battery (first failure I've ever seen on the P-64 and there were a few rounds of the Silver Bear that didn't want to come off the magazine. This only happened with the first round on the magazine when I tried to drop the slide closed. I've been flirting with a Feed Ramp Polish, and this may make me actually do it.
Sadly, I'm out of 9x18 now (except for a box of 120 grain that someone gave me that I'm too scared to shoot for fear of damaging the P-64.).
Anyone have tips on the best places to purchase 9x18?
Thanks,
E.

I reload myself.....but my Grandson bought the old Grandpa couple of boxes of this stuff. Shoots really well and is sorta on the "hotter" side....very accurate......less than $10 bucks per 50 rounds. Scroll down... :D

That's good ammo. I got 250 rounds of it after I bought my P64. It feed & functions 100% and is a bit "warm". I think it is about the least expensive stuff on the market now.
