Update on my P-64

Post by sixgun »

I've been carrying my P-64 for 2 weeks now. Just want to share my pleasure with this pistol. It's really great, I'm 5'11 and 200 lbs and for me the recoil isn't that bad. I can nail the center of a paper plate @ 20 ft. every time.
Yes my double action pull is hard but I wouldn't notice it in a emergency. In most situations I should have time to take the safety off and cock the hammer. I prefer the safety and double action for my own safety and liability.
I don't feel under gunned with this pistol. The 9x18 is a very potent round at close range. It's size, power and accuracy make it a winner for me.
It is ever so great for carry IWB or shoulder holster, I forget about it being there due to it's size and weight. I'm sure James Bond would trade in his PPK for one.
I like it so much that I would buy another for a spare but my wife reminds me of our situation due to the economy. :D
