Whats it worth?

Post by bondwoodcustoms »

So my dad has offered to sell me his p-64, and I am interested to know what current market values are. It is in pretty good shape, with only a small amount of bluing missing around the end of the barrel. If I do purchase it, I will use it as a carry gun when I get my license.

If you look around you can usually find a really nice one with two mags for around $200 range in the Utah area but price my vary from region to region.

I've seen them go anywhere from say a little under $200 at gun shows to maybe $250 at Gander Mountain, which is rather high. $200 seems like a good ballpark figure.

How many magazines? Mags are going for $30 or so on GB now.

Really? Not surprising I guess. I saw a $30 price diffence between P-64's at the Gander on the East side of Columbus versus the Gander on the West side. That was a couple of weeks ago.

Just got off the phone with the two stores E & W Columbus. W has two at $289, E is out of stock and not expecting more anytime soon. Just an FYI.

Thanks for the replies fellows. I think my dad is offering me a pretty good price on his. I think he only has one mag, and if I remember correctly, he wants 165. Think I might go ahead and get it.

What happened to all the $169.99 pricetags I used to see on P-64's? LOL
