Bought my second one!

Post by DoubleTap »

My first P-64 was a 1968. This one is a 1974. Condition appears to be unissued, The bore looks perfect and it came with two magazines. Gander Mountain had this one for $249.99. A little too much perhaps, but they threw in a free box of ammo, which lessened the sting somewhat. The salesman made the comment that they had already sold 15 of these in fairly quick succession, so word must be getting out. I'm eager to take it out and see if it shoots as well as my first one! :D

You should have asked to talk to the manager and I bet he would have knocked the price down to $215 w/ no ammo tho.
The P-64 I bought from our local GM also appeared to be in unused condition.

Congrats on the purchase.

Be careful guys, back when I got mine in '05 they were $129 for two, I made the mistake of leaving um in the dark and before I knew it I had 5 of them along with about 12 sets of different grips .... so they are addicitve, and I still enjoy carrying and shooting um today.

I have just one P-64, a 1973 specimen. One is all I need for daily OC/CC carry.

Now if someone were to mention SIG......well, one SIG is not enough. I have five......

I have this illness so bad I have a hard time even looking at calibers. In fact I recently sold one of my 9mm's so I could buy my newest P83.

Its called MOCD Makarov Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or alternately Milsurp Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

And ... congrats on your purchase.
Repeal mandatory health insurance purchase language in the health care bill. Fines/jail are for criminal or civil misconduct. Insurance isn't a tax. By forcing this you betray public trust, ignore your constitution oaths, & are party to extortion.
