CCW Question

I carry everywhere the law will allow and some they dont. Laws are kind of murky here in Fl. I have asked questions of my NRA instructor but have gotten different answers from the people in the gov. office about where I can carry. Glad to hear you are getting yours, an armed populus is a safer one I say. Damn Magicdoc that pic is down right scary! ;D

Hey 1dickhurtz,
Carrying 2 of the P-64's sure compinsates for the low round capacity doesnt it? I like those 2 gun shoulder rigs.

CCW Question

Post by 918collector »

I have had one for years, but in Alabama, it's no big deal. Fill out form, pay fee, wait about 2 weeks for background check and pick it up. For re-ups (yearly), just bring in your old one and the sheriff's office will fill out a new one and you pay the fee.

Incidentally, many states have reciprocity. Alabama reciprocates with Georgia, Alaska, Florida, Mississippi, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Dakota, Wyoming, New Hampshire, and Utah (I clipped the article out of the local paper & keep it with my license). So if you are legal to carry there, welcome to Alabama, just keep it covered, don't go into gov't bldgs, schools, bars, etc. There's some other rules too. Go to the NRA website. It's got a lot of info on CC laws.
