Where to buy a P64.

I was going to order a P64 a few days ago but now many sites do not have any in stock.

Do the dealers usually replenish their P64 stock? Are there any dealers that have any in stock now (for buying online)? Any info that anyone can give me would be most helpful.

Thanks so much.

There's one in sale in Tulsa, OK for $215 - http://www.armslist.com/posts/44189/tul ... tic-pistol

Not sure what he'd charge for shipping, that's a high price. You're better off going through Gunbroker as everyone else has hoarded them, just like the ammo shortage a couple years ago.

I purchased mine at Southern Ohio Guns Several weeks ago. They had stock at least then, both FFL and C&R.

Southern Ohio Gun is sold out.

MCS or Gunbroker will be his best bet for now until some other places get them back in stock.

They sold like crack when they went C&R. I'm betting we'll see them for sale before too long for $300 thanks to the artificial shortage created by opportunistic hoarders.
It will be like the "ammo shortage" all over again. A shame really.

Exactly. That's what I said. It is a shame. You can't do much more with 3 of these guns than you can with 1. They're okay for what they are, but they're by no means extraordinary. Oh well.

What's the good going rate for P-64s now? I paid $175 a few months ago. Although mine was in pretty spotty condition. Plenty of pitting and some rust (now removed). The seller mentioned nothing about it in the ad and you couldn't see it in the pictures.

With surplus P64's still available from distributors the price will hover under $200. I have seen two samples from SOG in the last few weeks, both excellent and practically unfired, $169 plus shipping brings it to about $190.

If you're considering selling one and don't need the cash immediately then wait until the distributor supply dries up. Prices generally rise in the secondary market when that happens.

+1 on SOG. I got mine there a few weeks ago. I ordered via internet on Sunday and it was shipped Tuesday. Only negative thing was that they had more p64's than they had holsters so I didn't get one! It was $192 and change I believe.

I got an email advert the other day from Royal Tiger Imports (IO) notifying me that they had P64's in stock. They claim two grades, very good and excellent condition. I can't recall ever buying a gun from them so I have no idea how they are to deal with.
