My recent purchase!

Post by mitski »

Hello To All,

Recently joined the forum and wanted to share a few pics of my recent acquisition. 1972 P-64, my first! Gotta say I'm very impressed! :D I'm not going to beat a dead horse and say how great the pistol is, I believe that has been covered already. So on with pics!

As a side note I did however change out the hammer and recoil springs with Wolff replacements. That sure made quite the difference!

Regards,

Hey Ski
She's a real beauty, very nice pics too.
Holster also looks like new, any stampings on the underside of the flap?

Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it!!! :D I would like to pick up another sometime in the near future. I was hoping to find another mag or two, but I'm not sure about J&G? I've read mixed reviews on what they are selling and the shipping price is pretty high.

Dom,

The holster flap has some markings but the they are faded and difficult to make out.

I just like the look of a nice P-64, there is just something impressive about the construction of it. You have a really nice pistole there.

Great looking gun! I have a round hammer that I got from Papabear, that one is never for sale. I carry a tri hammer that is my baby. Both have Zee grips.

Interesting, it's a '72 but has the round hammer...

I was wondering the same thing about the configuration of the hammer? I was under the impression that 72's were updated to the larger hammer spur. I plan to use mine as ccw and the tri hammer would be more disirable. I've been thinking about putting this one up and try to keep it in the condition it is now and find another with the tri hammer for carry.

BTW, THANKS for the warm welcome and the compliments!!! I greatly appreciate it.

By chance does this one have an "A" stamped on the left side of the frame by the hammer, directly above the grip?
