Polish P-64 manual ?

Post by donnerwetter58 »

Does anyone have any original Polish military manuals for the P-64? I'm not looking for the "official" translation just the real thing.
Thanks,
Dave

That's not the original - you're looking for a red cover manual. I've got one that was given to me early in this boards life by a Polish member from Warsaw. I have no idea where you might find one.

dickfunk,
Thanks for the response.
I'm not really looking to get my hands on one.
What I really want is the metric "technical data" that was converted and translated for the English manual.
Specifically bullet weight which should be in grams.
Thanks,
Dave

Ask and you shall receive...
It specifies the projectile weight as 6 grams even (92 grains).

You can use this link to translate the rest of it if you'd like: http://translate.google.com/?hl=en#pl|en|

92 grns is a little odd. I have heard of 94 and 95 grn in a factory load. What size is the new mold that you ordered? I'm a little late but I wouldn't mind having a mold for 9X18.

www.translate.google.com

Here's the P-64 manual
http://www.katowice.szkolapolicji.gov.p ... u_P-64.pdf

Here's the P-83 manual
http://www.katowice.szkolapolicji.gov.p ... wyd_II.pdf

Easiest way to do this is to save the manual to your computer. Then go to Google Translator and click the option to Upload Document. Browse and find the file on your computer and click Translate. It will open it up, MINUS PICTURES, so you can read/decipher what's it's trying to say. Open up the original manual also so you can follow along and view the pictures.

Text may be mostly all the same. The version that I have used was published in 2009, so it is a relatively new copy. Yours is probably an older edition which probably isn't a bad thing. The newer one may be more abbreviated or they found a better way to say something. Too bad you couldn't upload your version of the book so folks could look at it and see the different images and stuff.
