Its here.........

It was in much better shape than I expected and was even clean and oiled when I got it, albeit wrapped in newspaper (thanks J&G!). I got my spring kit from Wolf on Saturday, so I've got all the stuff I need. We'll see if I can pull this off myself, or if I'll have to run crying to my friend who's already done this to his.

I put in the Wolff 18 lb main spring and polished a bit on the spring post where it rides along the trigger mechanism. SA is like glass, DA is a bit heaver than SA used to be. Basically its as heavy as my Taurus .38 in DA.

I'm happy with that. It's light enough to be very functional for me, and heavy enough to make me comfortable carrying it in condition 2.

Now I need to get to the range.
