Well, I thought I'd be requesting

Post by manicmechanic »

Prayer for my wife soon for gall bladder work, or me in September for probable kidney stone lithotripsy(yes, again). But to make a long story short, my urologist suggested a trip to the oil pump specialist for a stress test, so here I am less than 4 hours away from a heart cath. So if your of the praying sort, a lift to the BIG GUY would be greatly appreciated, and if not some good thoughts would also be. Thanks again guys and gals!!,hope to overtake my daughters laptop to be able to update within a couple of days since my computers downstairs.

Thanks for all the support. The procedure went as smooth as silk, got an early start and the doc found no blockage in any vessel. Can't begin to say how much of a relief this is. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!!

I guess from what the nurses said, the stress tests, which I had on Monday, are pretty much impossible to pass, but I also think the reason for me cath was my family history on my Dad's side. My Dad died at 45, his brother at 47, and the one that got into his 60's had over 4 heart attacks, so I'm just thankful my urologist prodded me into getting into a cardiologist to get this out of the way.
Now I really need to get back into some serious treadmill work again and stick to it. At least that is what I'm figuring my oil pump doc will probably want to see me do.
Well again thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, and when the wife goes in for her upcoming tests in late August and possibly my oldest daughter's gall bladder problem, and of course my probable stone work in September, I'll know that I can always count on my cohorts on all these forums. THANKS AND GOD BLESS!

Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of Leo's family . Amid all suffering may they find consolation in Your healing presence. Show Your mercy as You close wounds and cure illness. May these special people find lasting health, deliverance, and so join us in thanking You for all Your gifts. I ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed.

"... or me in September for probable kidney stone lithotripsy"

Man the last kidney stone I had extracted years ago they used the old fashioned roto rooter procedure, you don't even want to know.

Far as heart health goes a brisk 30 minute walk (treadmill or otherwise) 3-4 times a week works wonders. Prayers and best wishes.

May Gods hand be with every thing your family does. May he bless all your family and may he bless every thought and action as your family goes through these trying times.

Well I usually try to get the pre-op prayer thing going but didn't quite make it, so I'll ask for some post-op prayer for my wife. I ended up taking her in this morning to U of M Ann Arbor for abscess surgery, and happy to report all went smooth and recovery is going well also. But she had this same surgery about 4 years ago and she really had some unbearable pain during the repacking of her wound. Thanks in advance for thoughts and prayers, we serve an AWESOME GOD!!
