I found the recoil with the standard sprung P64 to be pretty bad, and I have been shooting 357 and 44 magnums for a long time. In particular, the pinky extension was just hammering my pinky...to the point where it physically hurt to pull the trigger.
The recoil upgrade made alot of difference.
It wouldn't matter in a self defense situation, but 50 rounds at the range was painfull before.
Is the Recoil Really that BAD??

Is the Recoil Really that BAD??
I fired 30 rounds through it this past weekend and found that once I got used to the recoil, it wasn't that bad at all. I called it my little popgun. That is because I had just finished firing 50 rounds through my 40 S&W so the 9x18 felt a little smoother at that point.
