P-64 CLEANING ROD

Post by elguapo346 »

I recently purchased a P-64, but failed to receive a cleaning rod with it.

The particular tool that I am looking for is a "t-bar" type cleaning rod that not only cleans the barrel, but has a screwdriver swing-up "channel" piece that can be used on the pistol's screws.

Please, has anyone else looked for one of these and found a source/price?

I use the cleaning rod I got when I bought my CZ-82. My P-64 came with nothing - just the handgun.

Yeah, mine didn't come with a cleaning rod, either. I just use one that I purchased separately.

Thanks for the replies.

I want to get the original cleaning rod that comes/came with the P-64, the one with the hinged head that also acts as a screwdriver; just have the complete set. I was hoping that someone might have a line on who or where I could get one at a rea$onable price.

I must have been one of the lucky ones. Mine came with two magazines, a holster and the cleaning rod.

As has been stated before on this site, parts are pretty much non-existent with a few exceptions for this pistol. I did do a quick google search and there were a couple of auctions listed from a couple of years ago that had P64 holsters for sale with the cleaning rods but nothing recent. If anyone runs across a source, I'm sure we will let you know.

I tell you what, elguapo346. I have several regular cleaning rods and small screwdrivers that I use for removing grips. If you cannot find the rod anywhere, let me know. I can send you mine.
