Safety Catch

Post by jj.coghlan@gmail.com »

I have a P-64 dated 1976. The safety catch is broke so the safety is inoperative. I have been searching for a place to buy the part. Can anyone help me out?

Classic arms and J&G Sales sometimes sell gunsmith specials, you might try emailing them to see if they have one that has the safety. And keep an eye on Gunbroker or one of the other auction sites, sometimes parts or semi whole guns come up. But you have to buy quick cause they usually don't last.

Ketchman,

Thank you for the quick reply. I have been watching all three. I will email J&G and Classic Arms.

Hope it helps. You might also try SOG as they also sometimes have the P64 in stock. They may also have a gunsmith special laying around.

P-64 Safety Catch

Post by jj.coghlan@gmail.com »

Numrich has a P-83 catch that looks similar to the P-64. Its a stretch but does anyone know if they are interchangeable?

Hello everyone!

New owner of a 1974 p64 from the good Folks at Aim Surplus.

I live in California, and I'm waiting for my FFL 03, but it's going to take awhile. I've been shooting for 15 years and this is my first Surplus pistol, it accompanies my Surplus Mauser. I also have a number of modern guns.

I have long been interested in combloc guns and propaganda Etc and I'm happy to own this awesome pistol and piece of History.

Also I would just like to say how excited I am that I found this amazing board and community. I'd like to thank everybody who adds to it as it's a great place. I hope to see y'all in the threads and I have a million questions and I can't wait to talk to y'all more.

I'm glad I found this place after a reference to it on socnet.
I've owned a P64 for about 5 months now.
