Question on standard springs
smith2121,
My P-64 has all factory springs and works great wtih all 9x18 ammo. The only time I have ever had a failure of any kind is when I got the gun it had the lighter hammer spring installed and I had failures to fire sometimes. I put the factory spring in and the gun has operated flawlessly ever since. I agree with Norm, I would'nt shoot ammo over 95 grain.

Question on standard springs
I have the Wolf 18 lb. hammer spring and the extra power recoil spring, silver bear ammo. No problem. Didn't have problem without but the DA pull is far better with the 18.
