p-64 accuracy

Post by fjkiv »

I recently purchased an un-used p-64 and found it to be extremely accurate. I have only had the opportunity to have it at the range once but was pleasantly surprised! :o I have owned and fired allot of guns and this one takes the cake as far as accuracy which is surprising for such a small gun. I have a Ruger Snubby and a Springfield XD and this little gun seems more accurate than both.
The gun looks good (nice bluing). I'm looking forward to shooting it more.

fkjiv,

Along with "NORMSUTTON" a BIG welcome to the P-64 Forum. This is the only place that has most information available on this pistol. Take a little time and go thru the past postings; there is a wealth of information here. Also, please come often with questions or need about this great little pistol.

I think most eveyone that has the opportunity to fire one will agree that it is one of the most accurate pistols available in its size.

bzinggg,

WOW, that is a NICE grouping. Yes, the pistol has to be ggod for this typew grouping, but you have to be good too! I agree with you as to why some folks don't like the P-64. THere are few pistols made today that can shoot this group. It is not a"fluke" that you have a perfect one, because others shoot them very well too. THis is probably the most accurate pistol I have ever run across, short of the highly modified or the true target pistols.

Thanks for posting this information, I love to see when this pistol "SHINES"!
