P64 Grips?

I have read in a variety of posts - most elsewhere - that because of the 'snappiness' of the P64, a softer grip is desired by some people. Here I have seen a reference to Zee Grips and wood grips by Marschalgrips. Both appear to be well liked by members.

My first question: what material are the Zee Grips made of? And secondly, what is generally preferred by the members here, wood or another material? Aesthetically, I think wood grips are a winner, but how do they feel when shooting the P64?
