Shop Keys!!!

Post by fritzhund »

8-)

Hi Guys,

I've been a little scarce since my birthday.

Thanks to all for the well wishes!

What I did get for reaching the age of 43 is a new job, which allowed me to move to a 50 acre farm, and with that new job, the keys to the Maintainence Shop. Hallowed Ground to most who work there.

I have Bridgeports, lathes, ultrasonic cleaners, punches, presses, and more tools than you have in most shops available to me! Plus, almost everyone in the shop is a gun collector of some sort. Some are milsurp collectors like me, some are avid target shooters, some just collect guns. There are two in house gunsmiths. We are closed for the first day of deer season in PA.

I am no stranger to these tools, but wow, what a collection at my disposal in one place with nobody looking over your shoulder when you are working on a "special project"!

We make specialized valves for packaging, but we support a lot of machinery.

I can't wait to dunk a fresh P-64 in the tank and produce another jem. I will be grabbing another one from MCS real soon!

I'm back

:D Fritzhund

Yeah Norm, it's cool. We are a busy shop, but there is room for toys. What's nice for collecting European stuff is that we are Metric based. SAE is around, but people look at you funny if you are searching for a 1/4 20 anything!

Thanks GR!

Himmel, it would be one hell of a commute from Texas!

I did however think I found a nice replacement screw for the kind of crappy one that Dennis sends with his grips. I brought one home to try. I'll post when I have the time to try it.

Moving is a nightmare. I have been here on the farm for about a month and I am still unpacking.

I am partially still living out of boxes.

I'm still here, but I am a little lazy about posting. Should be back all the time in a week or so, I hope!
