"BIG BROTHER SITTING STILL"

Post by manicmechanic »

Like I said in the other thread, here's the better pics of my P-64's Big Brother. He's got some corrosion issues in some spots, but he's not going to be hanging on any walls anywhere anytime soon, so I've oiled it and scrubbed a bit and it's coming around.

I'm not sure if this is the ammo I have, but can you say tumbling dice!

Yes it is the Tantal, wz. 88 side folder by Radom in the 5.45X39 flavor. It also goes by the AK-74 designation from what I've seen.

I'll be shooting it the first time this weekend and I'll give a report with hopefully some pics and video. I picked it up from my local dealer Yatin Patel, he's great to work with. Here's his link,

That is awesome...I love anything made at Radom! I don't know why but I just do. Their stuff just "works"! I have a friend that has an AK74 and swears by that round...no recoil and great accuracy! I hope to shoot his on saturday when I grab his Uzi for a spin as well.

Great pick up!

Here's some video of some Tantal action. It's actually a clip from a Polish movie called, at least translated it's called Dogs 2, episode: Pasikowski AK-74 and matches. I've seen the targets in Bartos's earlier posts, he'll have to translate the scrip for us.
Still trying to figure out how to upload my 8mm digital film, thanks for being patient.

Leo,

Very nice and a good looking wz 88/AK-74, as carguy says, I like anything from Radom also.
