Post by p64owner »

I purchased a used P-64 from my local Gun Store and I love it. I followed all the directions on this board and never asked any questions or posted before but I gotta ask Norm.
How or where do I get one of the Nickel plated P-64's I see in your avatar? I have got to get one and all I see for sale is blued!! Did someone do that for you or whats up ???

the PA-63 all I had hard chromed was the slide,I polished the frame

the BR-61 was made by FEG its all steel, they don't make any more and is one of the smallest 9x18 made

p64owner,
I bought 2 PA-63's from J&G in January and both guns were very good condition. The one I kept looked like it had never been used. The other one, I traded it for another gun at a gun show, had very minimal wear on the slide probably from a holster. I wish I had kept it and done something like Norm did because I really like the PA-63 now that I figured out that I had lost a spring.

Hrm, I had thought of chrome or nickel on the safety, trigger, grip screw and maybe the hammer while keeping the other parts of the gun blue. That would likely make a very good looking handgun.

How did you plate the plastic magazine bottoms?
