I added some stuff in the rules that Fritzhund pointed out, its stuff that makes sense to me to have in there.

As always, if there needs to be any rule additions/subtractions/changes tell me ASAP so that I can change them quickly.

Me again!

Should this be a P-64 event only, since Russian, East German, and Bulgarian Makarov's are not included, or should there be catagories for each gun in the 9x18 Makarov caliber? A PA-63 will not be the same as a P-64 at the range and as per other posts we don't have enough P-83's to qualify.

;)

This could get big!

How about P-64 only, modified or factory stock with notes per gun condition, ammo of choice, notes on submitted target?

What will we do for targets when Makarov.com shuts down? [/rhetorical]

Fritzhund - I thought the rules said P-64's and "clones" like the BR-61, SMC-918, etc. Does that include a PA-63? They're both kind of like PPK's aren't they?

That's a good point weetabix. I don't want to analize the rules to death.

I will only use a P-64 for the shoot. Same gun for all three targets, factory stock grips and springs, no modifications, shooting in single action.

;)

I've got everything printed out, I just haven't made it to the range yet.

Thanks Norm, I'm sure we will get more entries, its early yet. I had to go today or not get to shoot, I'll be tied up the rest of the week. Had a good day at the range, went through 2 box's of 9x18 practicing with both my 64's, I was getting better groups with the MFS 95gr +P than with the S&B or the Norinco, this was my first time shooting with the MFS ammo, wish I had ordered more, got a pretty good deal on it, have to give nbender credit for putting me on to it.

:-*Good shooting everybody.

I need to get with my glass lady to get me dialed in so I can pick up these tiny sights better or something. That and get more time behind the trigger of these fine pistols. I was really spraying some lead around tonight, couldn't get much of any grouping, oh well, had fun though, and that's all that matters, right? Oh and I forgot to add the sun was in my eyes and an earthquake was bouncing the ground while I was attempting my shots, yeah and....... :(

I thought I had a great target in the works when out of somewhere I got that one flyer! Heck, I nearly missed the paper altogether with the one shot. Nice shooting everyone. This makes for a fun competition among our forum members.

Like R.F., I have sent a round down range before I was ready to because of the sweet SA trigger on these P-64's, much better than my maks. Man you have to be ready! It doesn't take much to get them to go BANG. M.M. If I were shooting for bulls, I would use FMJ's, I have found my JHP's to spray more. That could just be the brand of ammo I used too. Fella's I hope to get out today or tomorrow to get my targets filled with pencil, ah, ah, I mean bullet holes. :P
