Picked mine up at the Ft.Myers gun show on Sunday. Its a 1977 with triangular hammer and thumb rest grips. It was claimed to be only test fired and it appears to be true. Came with "electropenciled" matching clip and I picked up two more.It also is stamped TG Knox TN and Radom Poland forward of the trigger guard.
There were two sellers at the show, both of them spoke Polish and were selling the guns from an original armory box. You could pick whatever gun you wanted. I was unfamiliar with the markings at the time but I believe the 1977 date was the newest I saw.

Bartosz, are any years preferred (felt to be better than other years)? I realize in the military you get what they hand you!

Hi mikethewreck,
I've heard that pistols from years 1975 to 1977 have better finished of trigger mechanisms, but that is only theory(I don't know that this is true).
In polish army there are pistols from all period when they were made.
I shoot a lot with P-64 about seven- eight years ago so I don't remember which variation was the best. I thing that different between variations are so small that they're not so important in use(except collectible value of course)
