IDPA and P64

Post by p64pro »

As President of a IDPA club I have run senerios in the past for BUG gun and something like "your main carry gun jams and you go for your back-up" and used my own .38's and KEL-TEC 9mm. I'm thinking about using
the P64 for one. Comments...suggestions?

ps.-I finally had to do the 16# mainspring mod because
my match director could not pull the trigger in DA. I admit it is better, but I didn't really have a problem with the heavy pull.

Any more IDPA shooters out there? Has any one used the P64 in a BUG match yet?

Can you participate in IDPA if you need a cane to walk? Never tried it.

I would say yes-as long as it does not hinder safe gun handling, but remember IDPA is a
competition so it may hinder your score, but don't let that keep you from trying. I see you are in Champain. We are in Mchenry which is up near the Wisconsin border, but I think Central Ill Practical Shooters might be close
