You all may know him outside of this forum, especially on TFL, but saands is responsible for the mainspring fix and the step by step photos on the website. Thanks for coming around, and we hope you'll be our resident mod/fix specialist!

Great! It will be nice to see saands around here.

I'll start writing down my questions (rubbing my hands together gleefully)

Glad to see you on board, saands. Would like to confirm that your recommended trigger spring is still the 16# Wolff P/N 25816. The guy I talked to there today wasn't helpful at all, and said they had a P-64, but were too busy to get to it for at least 90 days. He discouraged using subs, so thought I better confirm the one that works before ordering. Guess there is more than one person answering the phone at Wolff.

saands,

Welcome to the Forum!!! Since purchasing this great pistol AND finding this Forum, it has been a great help to all of us with this "redheaded stepchild" of a pistol; FOR NOW! I thin it will continue to gain a following and this Forum certainly can help.

I've been busy, and haven't been stopping in too frequently, and to be honest was floored to see this thread :o

As I've mentioned on other posts, I'm always willing to share what I've learned and why I think about something the way I do. That being said, I'm no expert, just another tinkerer (with some theoretical background to help keep me out of danger's reach ... I hope!).

Ask away ... I may not answer immeditately, but if I know the answer or have an opinion, you'll read it.

Hi Ssands.
Please see my query on the mainspring fix thread. With my SA pull now at 3 1/4, and yet still having the terrible DA, I need some feedback on how the SA is affected with the PPK spring.
Thanks,
Stan
