Great day at the range

Post by onapar »

My p-64 is a pleasure to shoot after doing the spring mod on the trigger and recoil. It is probably the most accurate of my 11 hand guns it surely is not the most powerful round but I am sure in any situation as accurate as it is it would be adequate. :)

Now look up the "competition" thread and let's see how good you really are with the P-64...

This should be fun but first I have to figure out how to get the target made properly.
oh one other thing I never practice out to 25 yards one handed. Soooo this 73 year old fart will sure give it a try
should be fun.

Hello onapar,

If I may ask, where do you go to shoot at? Three points, Pima Pistol, or the indoors Marksmen/Jensens?

Peace,

Talon
I do all my shooting at the state operated range here in Tucson. I also volunteer as a line safety officer at least ten hours a month which entitles me to free range time, which I really take advantage of.
The range is just north west of the pima county fair grounds.

Where are you located?

Hello Onapar,

I'm in Douglas.

Our club range is very active in the shooting sports. We conduct several competition shoots each month/quarter we also have a "live on" range master.

Our High bore goes out to 500 meters, small bore to 100 meters plus we have two pistol ranges, and archery course.

Shamefully I'm not familiar with your range? I don't get to Tucson much. I last lived there in 89'

If you ever make it out this way look me up :)

Peace,
Tal~ 8-)
