Re: First Impressions

I hardly consider my P64 a "range" gun. And, to be honest, I don't even find it all that much "fun" to shoot. What it is, to me, is a solid, reliable, dependable little pocket gun with enough "poop" to get the job done.

Re: New guy has questions about P-64 cerakoting

I gave it a field strip and soak in Hoppe's #9 last night, but I have not taken any steel wool to it yet. I'm a bit nervous that I'll end up stripping off what finish it has if I use steel wool. Might just have to take the plunge since the finish isnt in great shape in the first place. I don't thin...

Re: Radom Factory Parts Available!

I'm new to the P64, but I learned that a post 1972 pistol will work with any mag. A pre-1972 might have problems with later mags. The later mags have slightly longer feed lips, which can be ground/filed back to match the older mags. I did this with a late mag, and it seems to work fine in my 1969. ...

Re: Radom Factory Parts Available!

Thanks for the reply Hurryin' Hoosier. I have bid on a similar magazine on GB and hope to get it. I will keep searching for deals to pick up a few more. The info. I was reading on the main forum page stated "The team developed two different prototypes called CZAK (acronym of designer's last na...

Re: Radom Factory Parts Available!

I have had a 1972 model for several years. All I can tell you is that I have never bought a genuine Polish military magazine which did not work.

Re holsters, it all depends. Do you plan to pocket carry? If so, I highly recommend Robert Mika: http://www.frontiernet.net/~akim/ . Great products and a great guy to deal with.

At the risk of saying "I told you so", I think that I might have been right. I fully intend to bring this to my wife's attention!

Seriously, I'm glad the problem has been rectified.
