J&G is Killing Me
Jbabbler, parts should be plentiful, the pistol is still in production to the best of my knowledge. The CZ 83, which is the American .380 model, is advertised at the CZ web sight and I believe there is information stating the pistol can be ordered in a 9x18 format. G.R. gunneyrabbit I do not believ...

Polish P-83 Wanad at J&G Sales
Mak mags do not work in P-83. P-83 mags only.

Polish P-83 Wanad at J&G Sales
That is a decent price for a fine pistol. I figured we would see them used at a decent price before long since Poland adopted 9mm. I had a Eagle version in like new condition that I sold for $500 awhile back.

J&G is Killing Me
Sorry, they are just a tad larger than a P64, hold more rounds, lighter, super double action trigger, no mods needed!

Well, it happened to me
The left side thumbrest panel was not a military spec part. It was an aftermarket addition to gain points for import into USA. Grip screw is not to blame.

Picked up FEG SMC-918 at gun show
Went to local gun show in Southaven, MS yesterday & saw the usual stuff. No P64s, no Maks, a couple of well worn high priced CZ82s & PA-63s. Then I saw a FEG SMC-918 on a table with old mags, holsters & accessories. Excellent condition. The gent asked $300. He let me take it apart for cl...

Zee grips?
swd
If you have the import thumbrest grips & want flat grips or vice versa or if you want color(s) other than black and you do not want custom wood grips then ZEE is the man.

No P64!
I suppose that shooting technique has a lot to do with felt recoil. I have a friend who regularly shoots .45 ACP but complained about the recoil of the P64. I joked with him and asked if he needed some shooting lessons & he responded that I could kiss his a**.

Star PD 45acp *Update*
papabear, that is a super looking PD! Interarms import? I never had one of these in Starvel but have had a few blued PDs, imported by Garcia & Interarms. The earlier Garcia import was the best quality, then the early Interarms. The last Interarms imports were not as good, fit & finish just n...

P64 or SMC 918?
Yes, PA-63 mags work in the SMC-918 with no problem other than sticking out a little bit. I have never had a problem with accidental activation of the the magazine release. I do not know of any pistol magazine that works correctly in a P64 other than an original P64 magazine.

P64 or SMC 918?
Check SSME Deutsche Waffen Inc. in Plant City, FL, website: www.ssmedwi.com. They have BR61 flat left panel grip listed for $8 + shipping. BR61 is the steel frame verson of R61. I have owned the R61, SMC22, SMC380, SMC918, AP22, etc. and they use the same grip. SSME also used to sell a left grip pan...
