New M38
you got a real nice one, nice job on the finish also, you can hardly tell. My Mosins are a lot of fun to shoot, real head turners at the range too, especially the M44. There is so much milsurp ammo available for these rifles, I have pretty much a lifetime supply!

I can use the down-arrow (that lists the 10 or so most recent pages) and the page I want to go to is now about ...

Sellier & Bellot, based in the Czech Rep., makes some of Winchester's metric calibers, I had some Win 7.62x54R that was made there too.

many web sites won't allow use of e-mail addresses from the sites you mentioned because, since they are free e-mail addresses and not connected with your own Internet provider, they are not as easy to verify as being valid. For example I use AT&T for my Internet, and my e-mail address is associa...

hammer spring for PA-63
thanks again sir.
the first thing I got for the gun was a 15# recoil spring. I couldn't shoot more than one box of ammo with the original spring, without having a mighty sore hand

hammer spring for PA-63
I'm thinking of finally changing the hammer spring so I can shoot DA without using both hands. Will a 11# spring make a difference or should I just go with the 9# ?

Brown Bear or Silver Bear
Which is better, Brown Bear or Silver Bear? I think both are made at Barnaul. Also Wideners has some Barnaul brass plated 9x18, any good? Looking for something inexpensive to feed my PA-63.
TIA

actually, the largest quakes in the lower 48 states were the New Madrid quakes of 1811 and 1812 in the Mississippi valley between St. Louis and Memphis, some parts of the Miss. River flowed upstream. That's pretty close to your neck of the woods, DW58 http://earthquake.usgs.gov/regional/states/event...

a few older buildings lost their masonry fronts and there was a water main break near downtown L.A., but nothing much so far. This one was about 1% of the energy output of the 1994 Northridge quake. We are fortunate to have such strict building codes here, some other parts of the world would have ma...

Just had a medium sized earthquake here in So CA, a 5.8. Happened at 11:42 AM local time near Chino, about 60 miles east of L.A. So far no major damage. Hope any members in the "Inland Empire" here in CA are OK.

PA-63 - decocker discharges round
that's the same procedure I've read about to check the decocker on a CZ-52, which also has problems with the decocker firing off a round unexpectedly
haven't tried it with mine yet
