Field Report P-64

This is what 4.1grs of Winchester 231 and a Hornaday 95Gr JHP gets you on an Arizona Jackrabbit. Shot was about 15 yards, quartering away. Entrance was left hind quarter, exit was right front armpit. DRT. ::)

You reload right? Your seater plug is putting a ring around the nose of your bullets. If you don't want the ring, do as I said. Take the seater plug out, if it's an RCBS it unscrews, same for a Lee. Use it like a cookie cutter on some felt or one of the foam ear plugs. Not the whole ear plug, about ...

I have four magazines for my P-64. One that came with the gun like your bottom one, it isn't the same serial number as the pistol, and three more I bought from J&G a few weeks after buying my pistol like your magazine that jams. All mine work fine. http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq263/Sapo60...

CZ-52 out of storage

Nope the extractor pin isn't staked. If yours is loose, just use a center punch and put a dimple near the pin hole on the bottom of the slide. That should hold it just fine. Do this with the pin installed. Oh I also installed a Makarov rear sight on mine. As it was it shot way low. Now it shoots whe...

CZ-52 out of storage

I think those are 52gr HP's I have loaded here. They dont expand much, too slow at 1700 fps. They act like the 55gr FMJ's and bend in the middle. If I remeber right. Now your goina make me load up some more and go try them again. :P

CZ-52 out of storage

I will have to look at mine, but I believe the extractor pin holes are staked top and bottom. .223 wont chamber in a CZ-52 :o

The little God Dot .32 cal 60 gr HP's are great. Dont forget to resize them to .308 first.

broke my trigger guard pin

I will look at my Walther PPK. Maybe you will get lucky and the pins are the same size. You will be able to get parts for it then. http://www.gunreports.com/special_reports/handguns/Walther-PPK163-1.html The Walther PPK trigger guard pin, best as I can tell, look almost the same size. If anything, i...

CZ-52 out of storage

Here is my CZ-52 before and after Duracoat. I have one of the old Federal Ordinance Stainless barrels for mine. I also reload for it. The .30 Cal Sabots make for interesting rounds out of it. They are too long to feed out of the magazine, so they are single shot only. If I remember right, they come ...

CZ 82 Refinishing

Go here and look at my Duracoated CZ-82 http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2289 I took the trigger guard off mine then sand blasted it with Aluminum oxide. Under the paint they have sort of a parkerized finish. I did it in H&K Black, ordered a set of night sights from CZUSA and ins...

Need ammo

Don't Hate ::) I have been reloading since about 83' and I really bought most of the ammo when Kerry was running, just in case.

The safe in the photo, that's not where I keep my toys. I use that as a powder magazine. Primers and bullets are in the little grey cabinet next to the loading bench.
