Changed My Spring - and a Tip

Well I changed out my hammer spring in about 3 minutes thanks to your super deluxe method Norm, Thanks ! And electross you were certainly right about the ends of the recoil spring needing sanding. That did it and now my slide will fit on the rails (although still a very tight fit) Dick Good luck on...

Ammunition

I think all but the S&B are made in russia, S&B is Chek. I like the silver bear & brown bear (made in diff. plants). S&B is also great ammo, but sometimes cost more in my area. I have shot some wolf, but it seems to be dirty & smelly, some of my guns won't cycle wolf (pistols). I...

Wally world. Camo tan flat (several coats), let them dry & the flat clear coat. Has to be the fusion spray paint, it sticks to the plastic great. If you mess them up later, just re-spray.

The carbine is great with the new stock, looks just like a berrate storm. I am getting ready to pick up a 9mm pistol (have had four). Makes a great truck gun or nightstand gun. I sent the company a letter saying how I liked the gun & got a T-shirt aas thanks. They sue are no uglyer than a glock!...

Wish List Thread

I think they shoot great, just can't get into the stuff on the end of the barrel. ;D Kidding aside, I sold mine to a good friend about 6-8 months ago as he didn't have one & the prices around here was too high. He is very happy with it. I'd buy another one if it came my way, but I already have t...

First Shot? I'll go with Single Action

You both have brought up good points. If the "BG" is right on top of me, I may use double action, but with pratice, its real easy to thumb the hammer back. When I work security, I carry a cocked & locked 1911, But..because it scares some people, I use a holster that straps over the ham...

I just can't get over the surprize that would be on a bad guy's face if you "unzipped" when he asked for your "stuff". ;D 8-)
