Re: Mainspring/hammer question
Sounds like you inserted the hammer strut spur where it mates with the hammer incorrectly. This is going to necessitate that you disassemble it again. It has to be right or the hammer/hammer spring will not function as it should. I don't know for sure if the FP will break it right away but it may. S...

Re: 1987 Wanad with a green trigger
My 1987 also has the green trigger and also the SB 05XXX S/N. My 1989 doesn't and its S/N is LNXXXXX. Unfortunately the 1987 has an issue with the frame which doesn't allow the safety to decok the hammer. The safety make very little contact with the hammer release for it to drop the hammer. I don't ...

Nice job on getting it. It is indeed very close to the Sig 239. Have fun with it.

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Put some smoked sausages on it and take it out to the BBQ. You really don't. It's what the Polish Army/Police were issued to clean and maintain the gun. All my Communist Block guns came with some sort of tool like the P64's. Mine are safely tucked away. Just use your regular cleaning / gun...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
The recoil spring has no part in the trigger pull since it's only attached to the barrel and not the trigger, trigger bar, or hammer. The recoil spring assists with recoil and extraction. The Calibration Pak is only for the recoil spring. The Hammer Spring Pak are for the hammer spring. You will nee...

Re: Is concealed carry safe with one in chamber and safety on shoot?
I just did what you are asking and I tried to push the hammer into the FP and it wouldn't budge. When the safety is engaged it rotates to prevent the hammer from striking the FP. You can do it the way you are asking about, but I would not recommend it. Too many things can go wrong and make it go BANG.

Re: New 9x18
Thanks Curly. Going to be carrying this also but for me it's year long since I only experience Summer down here.
With the exception of the recoil and hammer springs, it seems like the most of the slide & frame parts for the FEGs are pretty much interchangeable.

Re: Red Army Elite 9x18 Mak - Range Report
Interesting. I measured my RAE and I got .363 consistently across a random sampling of rounds, which is similar to your findings. My S&B 9x18 measured .364 consistently across a random sampling of rounds. Now, the RAE have never been an issue in my other Mak caliber guns - P83, Bulgy, PA63. I ha...
