Sight question
I have found that "raiding my wife's nail varnish stash" works extremely well and the colour can easily be removed with a little acetone when I want a different colour scheme!! Daven

Star BM 9mm
I have one of the last BKS Starlights that is still in excellent condition. As you say, will eat anything that I feed it in the FMJ category but does not like my TC reloads. However, since it cost $225 OTD with three mags, not too worried. Daven

P64 Help
A most useful piece of equipment (made for me by a friend with a lathe) is a brass drift that is just under 9 mm in diameter and about 25 cms long. If that will not move the blocked bullet, then it is a gunsmith job. Saved my bacon with a few guns from 9 x 19, 9 x 18 and 0.38 special. Daven

Slight Pitting: Any Ideas?
I've used fine steel wool and a variety of oils, including cutting oils to clean up rust, even some fairly rusty parts on many guns. Just takes patience. Daven

Pattern 1914 vs. M1917 Enfields
Aside from the bolts not interchanging, you need to be careful on headspacing. The 303 is rimmed, the 30-06 is not. In the 30-06, it headspaces on the shoulder so need to be careful. The 303 is much more forgiving. Dave_n

I have four Webley Mk VI's, three shaved, one, a commercial model of roughly 1935 from the serial number still in 0.455. Do not shoot 0.45ACP at regular loadings from any Webley unless you like missing fingers. The normal factory load for the 0.455 Mk II was ~650 fps (nitro powder or BP loads) and t...

Actually my $300 Norinco Model of 1911A eats anything and the metal is rock hard. Unfortunately no longer imported. Dave_n
