Re: Tagua Leather Holster
Boomer I know you have seen plenty of new leather along the way. I remember breaking in new baseball gloves when I was a boy but I don't think I want the family wagon driving over it a few times in the driveway! Baseball grove, yes I remember that, but I can go one better I think. There is a movie ...

Re: Found More P-64s
I purchased 2 from J&G. Not real happy. the decocker doesn't work on one due to someone filing. I replaced the hammer and recoil springs. But for that price I guess I really didn't get shafted or anything. The prices seem tempting, but I have had the concern of getting something with problems. ...

Re: How to carry...
LOL robalan. Most all new revolvers that I know of have some sort of safety device so you can carry a round under the hammer. Especially on the transfer bar safeties. Others have a locking hammer so it can't go all the way forward unless the hammer is pulled and it's on its forward stroke (reboundi...

Re: Laser Sight
I have seen trigger mounted lasers. You can probably mount them on almost any gun. Of course that would not be anywhere near as nice as laser grips. If you decide to buy a second gun I noticed a Bersa 380 lite for around $300 without laser grips and $500 with laser grips. The gun really looks a lot ...

Re: How to carry...
For those who carry without a chambered round, just wondering: do you also carry your revolvers with the first chamber empty? Or perhaps both the one under the hammer, and the next one too. Hmm. I am not sure what they do, but when I carry a revolver I have all chambers loaded. There is a movie nam...

Re: Ankle Holsters?
I tried a cheap ankle holster for my PA-63 and it wanted to slide down and kinda hurt my leg after a short while. However I think the 63 may be bigger and heavier than the 64. John I have two NRA ankle holsters that I wear together for a weapon the size of a P64. A small holster is nearest to my an...

Re: pocket carry
The NRA site has 511 jeans with pockets in the front inside for the gun on your right side and two small pockets for mags on the left. They also sell a little leather holster. It is a great combination and I use it most the time. NRA has ankle holsters that are nice for a backup. I like the gun to r...

Re: Hello, and mod question
So unless I'm attacked by a Euro that knows firearms, I should be safe in that regard. :D Should be, now I don't know if Foo birds are from Europe now. You are on your own there. I do know the FUBAR bird is American though... :hi: Welcome! I have met the FUBAR bird and did not like him one bit. Yet...

Re: 9x18 Power
There is plenty of loading data about 9x18 Mak ammo on Makarov.com compare that to load data on other calibers if you like but I like the ballistics of the cartridge which is why I have a true Russian (ex military not one of the IJ-70's either) Mak and a P-64. Thanks, the more good sources the bett...

Re: May trade a pistol...
My guess is most the guys at this site can look at it and be able to tell everything about it. I am real new at this type of thing. It looks like someone probably did some sort of refinishing. Did they and can you tell me what was used? How many mags come with it and are they available for sale some...

The group buy is over and delivered. The mold was made by Lee as a custom, took nearly 9 months. Another group buy I was in that Lee produced took over a year. Visit the forum every few weeks and see what group buys are being developed. They have repeated some with modifications. http://castboolits...

I am curious, in another Subject you were interested in stock grips. Did you decide you didn’t like the new grips?japanesegunguy wrote:I bought the maple grips...Love the natural feel and look

Re: Need stock grips for my p64
If you find something you like go ahead and get them. However, I did send away for some new wood grips recently. They should come in 2 or 3 weeks. If I like what I bought I may have some extra factory grips. I will keep you posted.

Re: Bullet Lube and Sizer for Makarov
I was looking around for parts and did notice there was another group buy around a year ago for a Lee 6 cavity Mararov at this forum. That group buy did expire, but I sort of wonder if some other people got in on that buy and had experience with this Lee 365-95-TC we have been talking about.
