Sounds like you caught it before you had more problems if the pin broke.

You said you looked itnto the issue, what did you find exactly that you think is screwedup?

Did you find a worn part?

Maybe something isn't reassembled correctly from long ago in the trigger area?

Welcome to the forum Paul. I would be willing to bet that if it was in decent condition it does not end up selling for 120. Classic is a pretty good bet and I think J&G still has them. They have a strong double action trigger pull and plenty of recoil if they have the stock recoil and hammer spr...

If you like the Makarov round you should look into the Makarov, CZ82 and P83 options as an expansion of the 9x18 family.

You could also see if the marks on your hand line up with the bottom of the slide.
