Double action only P64- very interesting. Did you retain the original springs or change them out?

FEG R-61 holster for a PA-63

You are correct. The R61 holster will not work for your PA-63. A Makarov holster is a pretty good fit. I lucked up recently and bought a PA-63 that included an actual Hungarian military holster.

I like the ACT-MAG 8 round Italian made mags. Novak mags are the same, they are made by ACT-MAG but the Novaks cost a little more. Novak has to make some profit for the name. MEC-GAR makes good ones too. Cheaper than Wilson and others too.

Every now and then you fall into a deal! I was at my dealer's pawn shop last week to pick up a FFL copy for an auction win and another customer was there to sell a few pistols. My dealer told him that I might be interested in the FEG. It was a pristine PA63 with Hungarian military holster and 2 mags...

I was certified to carry Freeze+P with the Sheriff's Dept. Being sprayed on the forehead with eyes closed was worse than the tear gas room. I got as close to the air conditioner vents of my patrol car and held my eyelids open for a long time. It cleaned my sinuses out though!

I have seen FEG 9x18 pistols converted to .380 using parts from similar FEG pistols. I suppose that yours may have been a .380 to 9x18 conversion.
