Re: New Member and P-64 Owner Saying Hello
Have you had a chance to shoot your new P-64 yet? How do you like it? Some folks are collecting, some are shooters, others just want a nice small ccw pistol for protection at an affordable price. You really can't beat the price/quality of these handguns. My brother liked mine so much he had to have ...

I always thought the 72.73 listed is grams not grains. Two different measures. Might have to convert and see if it works out to the American grain. Am I right in thinking of these two measures? Just something I heard or read somewhere. I'm not doing the math so I coud be way off on this topic.

Re: I decided NOT to change the springs and why.
To change the springs or not is really a matter of preference. I may actually change mine back to the original set of springs. The single action is a little touchy. Its still cheap fun to experiment around a little. Wolff springs are like Mad Magazine. Its still cheap. As far as carrying without one...

Re: trigger pull question
Does the transfer bar rub the inside of the slide? I've polished the transfer bar and applied grease where it rubs the slide above the trigger area and it smooths things out a bit. If there's a sharp edge on the front edge of the transfer bar, break that a bit. I also polish the sides of the mainsp...

Re: I decided NOT to change the springs and why.
I changed them. Just something I wanted to do. You don't have to. It only takes a few minutes to change them back. So, why not experiment. If you prefer leaving it the way it is, fine. Part of having these handguns (surplus) is that they did not break the bank buying them and you can usually change ...

Polish P-64 manual ?
92 grns is a little odd. I have heard of 94 and 95 grn in a factory load. What size is the new mold that you ordered? I'm a little late but I wouldn't mind having a mold for 9X18.

Gunney,
One more thing I almost forgot. Aim surplus has 15 round mags for 10 bucks. They are Korean and feed as well as originals. I believe thats about the best deal going.

Gunney, I have two M1 carbines, one a National Postal Meter and the other an Inland. Both shoot ok. The NPM shoots about six inches at one hundred yards with me behind the trigger. Not sure about the Inland as I have just bought it and not made it to the range yet. Ammo is the biggest problem. Its e...

New owner and some questions
I have mine set up with new springs. You don't have to do this to enjoy the P64. I did it because that is a form of receation for me is to change them around and see if I like it better with the change. The best part is that if you don't like the change in trigger feel. you can always put it back. L...

Great post. I thinking on this one. This is definetly something to consider if the reach for the trigger isn't quite what a person might like. Nice job.

I remember that being posted Blindog. If I remember, I actually wept for you. I'm not sure I would have been able to have kept my hands from around his neck. What was the end result anyway?
