Well, today I took my first (working) P-64 apart (again) and noticed a small difference between the workings of the 2 pistols. When the trigger guard is pulled out, and the slide is removed, I noticed that the Slide Stop Lever was up on the good pistol, and down against the frame on the problem pist...

If only it were that simple AK. I had trouble replacing the slide with the factory spring (small side first) from the first time I disassembled the weapon to remove the packing grease. I only replaced the hammer spring to see if it did the same thing in another gun and put original back in. I am no ...

None of the usual surplus outlets have any now (SOG, AIM, J&G), but you can be sure they will restock if they can find any. You can expect to see an increase in price when they get them again. They are a hot ticket since they got C&R status. You can probably find some on Gunbroker , or Aucti...

Thanks for your reply Joe, No it's still the stock recoil spring. I haven't received my Wolfe springs for this one yet. I know about the end grinding, I did it on my other P-64 when I put a 20 Lb recoil in. But yes, it's just like that....only harder. (and the small end goes on first) Also, I am con...

Nick of time...just in today from SOG.

I started noticing that P-64s were getting hard to find through the usual suppliers. So I checked SOG for availability last week figuring that if I ever wanted another one at a good price it was now or never. But, OMG...the website indicated out of stock! I was too late. For S&Gs, I checked back...

Anyone know where I find a replacement firing pin for my P-64?
I always like to have one as a backup.
