Rubber Grips?

Where do I find a Pearce grip for the P64? The one I've shot on a PM (Mak) was wonderful ... if Pearce makes them for the P64, I'm in!

PLEASE PLEASE share the source for this one!!!!!

Reloading the P-64?

Releasing the slide, IMHO, is done the same way on every semi-auto pistol I've ever seen. The strong hand keeps the pistol aimed at the action while the weak hand comes down on top of the slide with the thumb pointed back at you. you grip the slide with all four fingers on the strong side and the th...

TT-33 Pistols ?

If I'm not mistaken, the Romanians have the safety like the Polish ... behind the trigger. The best place for the safety is between the shooter's ears, but if you HAVE to add one to a TT-33, I think that this is the best option. The Russian ones had it kludged together on the side of the frame under...

a gun to refinish

FYI ... the CZ-50 is C&R, the CZ-70 is not. The Sistema's on Cruffler are a VERY old reference to a shipment that came in through JL Denter several years ago ... that page is like looking at a really old Shotgun News You might try looking for a beat up Hi-Power ... I've seen some go for under 3 ...

TT-33 Pistols ?

The TT-33 is one of the best pistols I've shot ... wow ... that was a mouthful, but it's true. Somehow it has been completely overlooked. It shoots the 7.62x25 just like the CZ-52, but the recoil feels more like a 38 special ... and they are accurate. The triggers are a nice single action trigger .....

Just got a Blue envelope in mail from Atlanta!!!

Oh ... on the subject of that SKS project ... going with the detachable or even 20round fixed mags will likely put you on the wrong side of section 922 (manufacturing a semi-auto rifle from foreign parts that wouldn't be importable) ... MUCH care is required on that one!

There is NO rule as far as I know that says a C&R acquisition needs to stay in that config or even be returnable to that config. Your records should not include any non-C&R acquisition or disposition, however, your records do need to include all C&R acquisitions and dispositions even if ...

Well ... I guess the ol saying "Don't start anything you aren't prepared to finish!" plays well in this context ... I guess if you are married, then you had better be prepared to increase the frequency with which you buy something nice for your spouse as well ... that ooooooosh sound is th...

The only real downside is that you are required to keep track of what you get, who you get it from, and who you sell/give it to ... when you renew, they will ask you how many you acquired and disposed of in the previous 3 years and you are required to keep the records for 20 years after you decide t...

+1 ... THOSE are the only rail guns that I'd heard of until someone called the stockless ones here that.

9x18 pistol fires 380acp.?

Notice the thing that the 2-fers, 3-fers and 4-fers all have in common ... the bullets are at least the same diameter ... and not just nominally the same but actually the same (or at least within one or two thousandths of an inch). 380acp shoots a .356" bullet 9x19 (9mm luger) shoots a .356&quo...

9x18 pistol fires 380acp.?

There are very few "interchangeables" out there ... most seem to be revolvers. The only ones that come to mind are the 38/357 (in a 357), the 44Special and 44Mag (in a Mag), the 22 LR/Long/short in a 22LR revover (and sometime in other actions as well, due to the headspacing on the rim in ...

Rubber Grips?

When Zee was molding the plastic ones, I suggested that he try some polyurethane, but he said that it was going to be too difficult ... I'd LOVE some ... maybe Chris Bond would be willing to give it a whirl at some point ... I bet some Shore A 60 or 70 durometer PU grips would take a BUNCH of the re...

Just to be clear ... I used all of the $500 piece ... it wasn't cheap, but now you understand why I was practically in tears when it didn't shoot worth crap! The barrel harmonic tuner is actually pretty cool ... OK, you're pretty sure that I'm a geek, but to keep from proving it, I'll refrain from g...

I should add, that I have access to a machine shop (mill and lathe) ... and the Mauser conversions require that if you want to use the cheap and plentiful Rem700 barrels (you need to cut new threads on the barrel). Otherwise, you can buy a slightly more expensive barrel and make a rifle on a VZ-24 o...
