Re: Will PPK grips fit a P64?
No, they will not fit. Otherwise a lot of folks, including myself, would be buying those grips instead of special wood P-64 grips from select makers for lots of moolah. +1 & Ditto, Juniustaylor. I can't afford those "special wood" ones either, but I just got some polymer ZEE-Grips tha...

Re: New Grips On My P64
Looks a little like mine! I have the same camo/black Zee-Grips (just got 'em!) and a Hogue Jr, on one of my THREE, too!
Here's two of them without the Hogue Jr.

Re: Question on J&G guns
I personally drove to J&G Sales and picked out my P-64 (benefit of being only 80 miles from Prescott). Great store, great people. I got the spring kits at the same time. Fed a couple of mags of S&B ammo through it with no hiccups. Need to hit the outdoor range so I can dump my Silver Bear t...

Try removing the slide and applying powdered graphite to the safety. You can find graphite @ Wal-Mart in the hardware section on the rack of key slugs where the key cutter machine is located.

Re: Before ordering from J&G Sales
Sorry for the noob question- The mag that came with my J&G P-64 was serialized to the pistol. Is that the norm? It is for all three of mine, but I think this was done by the issuer NOT at the factory (this was covered in another thread I can't find). I bought extras when I got each of my guns a...

Welcome boreal1. This is my favorite forum also. You'll learn just about everything there is to know about the P64 here. If not, the knowledgeable and friendly members will show you where to find it or how to do it!

[...]Is it more logical that Gander Mountain Store #135 happens to be located in Green Bay, WI and they have a GunBroker account to sell stuff that may not sell in the store? Look it up if you like. Torpeau is right, just Google 'gander mountain store #135'--there is a store (#135) in Green Bay. I ...

I agree. Why buy that one (with all of the aforementioned defects) when you can get a "brand new" one from J&G sales for "only" $154.95?!blinddog wrote:I wouldn't buy that thing on a bet. There is no telling what else is wrong with it.
Parts or no parts, that's just foolish!
